Familiar with the structural characteristics of the push button switch, choose the appropriate operation switch

All of us have undoubtedly used ballpoint pen refills, so we must have tried the ballpoint pen refill cap, which comes out as soon as you press it, and then goes in after you press it again. I don't know if you know the reason for this, or if you have ever taken it apart to take a look at the structural characteristics of the ballpoint pen. The button switches in our daily life are very similar to the ballpoint pen refills, so now I can introduce the relevant information of the button switches and the structural characteristics of the button switches to you, and you can also refer to them yourself.

Button switch is a kind of switch that uses the button to push the transmission mechanism, so that the movable contact and the static contact are connected or disconnected, and the circuit conversion can be completed. The push button switch is an electrical product with simple structure and a wide range of uses. The structural features of the button switch are also very rich and diverse, including mushroom head switch, self-locking switch, self-recovery switch, rotary switch, indicator light, etc., as well as single-twist, double-twist, three-twisted and different combinations.

The button switch is usually a building block structure. The structure features of the button switch include button caps, return springs, fixed contacts, movable contacts, housings, and strut links. They can also be divided into various types. Here I can also introduce to you.

The normally open contact is also called the moving contact, which refers to the contact in which the fixed contact can be separated from the movable contact in the initial situation, when the electrical appliance is not subjected to external force.

Normally open button switch, in the case of not pressing, the contact is broken, when the thick contact is pressed, it will be closed and turned on, after releasing the button switch will be reset under the action of the return spring cut off. In the control circuit, the push switch is also used to start the motor, so it is also called the start switch.

The normally closed button switch is just the opposite of the long open switch. When the contact is not pressed, the contact remains closed. When it is pressed, it will be reset and closed under the action of the return spring. The normally closed switch is often used to control the motor to stop, so it is also called the reset switch.

Finally, there is the composite push-button switch, which is a push-button switch that combines normally open and normally closed push-button switches, with normally-closed contacts and normally-open contacts. When not pressed, the normally closed contact is closed, and the normally open contact is broken. When the switch is pressed, the normally closed contact will be automatically disconnected, and the normally open contact will be closed. We can think that this is a self-locking button. When the button is released, the push switch will break the normally open contact and close the normally closed contact under the action of the return spring. Such push-button switches are often used in interlocking control circuits.

The above is the structural characteristics of the button switch and its related information content explained to you. You can also take a look.
